Scanning Policy

Ownership Of Scanned Content

All scanned content is owned by the customer. ScanCanada.ca and its owners will not hold any rights, or claim ownership of scanned content. ScanCanada.ca does not sell or intend to make any profit from any customer scans.

At no time will ScanCanada.ca use customer scans, in anyway. Customer may be requested to use their scans for promotional reasons. However, the customer has the right to decline.

All customer scans are backed up on our services for a year. This is to ensure that if the customer loses their scans, there is a back-up copy. However, customer may request to have their back-up scans deleted at anytime.

Scanning Copy Written Material

The customer is responsible to get permission of the copy write holder of the material before content is scanned.

Pornographic / Inappropriate Content

ScanCanada.ca does not scan any explicit or "hard-core" pornography.

Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement sets out our privacy policies and practices with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information in connection with ScanCanada.ca. This Privacy Statement may be updated by us at any time without giving notice of the revised terms, and this Privacy Statement may be supplemented or modified by agreements entered into between us and an individual from time to time.
